Neon Genesis Evangelion is a very popular anime series based heavily on Hebrew mythology. The basis of the series is that a group of young children must pilot these mechs called Evangelions in order to save the world against evil beings called Angels.

As the series progresses, the question begins to become more and more "What are the Evangelions?" Initially it is not known what exactly the Evas are, but stranger and stranger things begin to happen with the Evas. In a short version, the Evangelions are not purely mechs as the rest of the mechs are on this site. The Evangelions are primarily composed of organic material and only have metallic armor for protection.

Due to the popularity of the series both in worldwide, a few companies have released various different model like toys of the famed Evas. Two main companies have produced different lines of Evangelion toys. The ones pictured below are from the higher quality toys.

As with most of the toys on this website, the Neon Genesis Evangelion toys are more model like than toy like as the quality of the toy has been emphasized over the playability of the toy. Each toy comes with different hands, weapons and heads so that each toy can posed in whatever position the collector desires.
